Kola Nut, or Cola Acuminata, is also known as Cola Nitida, Cola Acuminate, Sterculia acuminata, Kola Seeds, Gurru Nuts, Bissy Nuts, Cola Seeds, Guru Nut.

Tropical Africa is the native home of the towering kola tree, which grows up to 40 feet tall, its yellow flowers tinged with purple, bearing reddish-brown seeds about the size of a walnut with almost no taste, but rich in caffeine.
