Figwort, or Scrophularia Nodosa, is also known as Throatwort, Carpenter's Square, Kernelwort, Deilen Ddu, Rose Noble, and Herbe du Si̬ge.

Figwort is an erect perennial with thick, squarish stems and multi-hued flowers. It thrives in damp earth, preferring open woodland. It is a member of the snap dragon family.
