Speedwell, or Veronica officinalis, is also known as bird's eye, gypsy weed, heath speedwell, common speedwell, Fluellin, and Paul's betony.

Speedwell is in the Veronica genus, which has about 500 species. It is a small perennial herb that grows 6 to 12 inches high, replete with petite, tooth-shaped, oval flowers of pale blue, lavender, and white.
