Sencha is made from the first tender leaves of the tea plant, hand-harvested in the early summer from high in the mountains. The leaves are then quickly steamed, twisted, and dried.

The fresh, bright, and almost grass-like bouquet of Sencha Tea is "summer in a cup," conjuring cool breezes and freshly-mowed lawns. Enjoy hot or iced, maybe with a bit of honey, ginger, or lemon.
