Genmaicha is a delicious blend of Sencha tea leaves and roasted organic brown rice. Sencha is made from the first tender leaves of the tea plant, hand-harvested in the early summer from high in the mountains. The leaves are then quickly steamed, twisted, and dried.

The almost-sweet, toasted flavor of the rice adds a lovely, comforting depth to the whole-bodied green tea leaves. Lovely as-is, but utterly decadent with a splash of coconut milk and a bit of spice.

-Taste: nutty beginning with a soft green finish.
-Aroma: Dry and nutty with a heavy linger.

-Instructions: one teaspoon per 6-8 ounces of water, brewed for 3-4 minutes
