Job's Tears, or Coix lacryma-jobi, are also known as Job's Beads, Adlay, Coix, Corn Beads, and Chinese Pearl Barley.

Job's Tears is a tall grain-bearing tropical plant of the family Poaceae (grass family) native to Southeast Asia. It has been naturalized in the southern United States and the New World tropics.

The "tears" are actually grain kernels.
