- Notes: Store in an air tight, covered container in a cool dry place. Fluctuations in humidity may cause salt to cake. Manufactured for food use and can be ground with a simple salt grinder for a finer grind or may be applied directly.
This smoked sea salt is 100% natural, solar evaporated, and is gathered from the Pacific Ocean off the coast of California. From here it is slow roasted above Red Alder wood for a rich and distinctive flavor unlike anything else. It is perfectly suited for a variety of culinary dishes, gourmet food products and within baking.
This salt is divine on vegetables, all meats, and even in drinks! Add this salt to anything to give it a rich, smoked flavor. I can hardly wait to make my Thanksgiving turkey using a rub with this salt and some rosemary. Yum!
